Refund policy

Incorrect Product:

It is very rare that you will receive an incorrect product; we double-check all orders before we ship them. However, if we made a mistake/error in shipping (it does rarely happen), please notify us within 2 business days of receiving your order and do not install/open the wrong part.

ONCE A GENERATOR TANK HAS BEEN FILLED WITH GAS IT BECOMES NON REFUNDABLE AND NON RETURNABLE.

Custom Orders: 

Gen Tank LLC/ MC Metal works is not liable for damage caused to equipment due to use of custom fuel tanks outside our standard product line. Customer assumes all risk when requesting custom modifications.

Major defects:

Although all the products are thoroughly tested before release, unexpected errors may occur. Such issues must be submitted for our approval. We keep the right to rectify the error or defect within 2 days. If any deficiency is approved and we fail to correct it within 2 days from the date of the initial complaint letter or any other notification provided by a Customer, the refund will be issued to the customer in full without any compensations or reimbursements. OR, at the customer’s choice, replacement of the product of the same or around the same value can be offered.

Product not-as-described:

Such issues should be reported to us within 2 days of receiving the product. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the website. Complaints that are based merely on the customer’s false expectations or wishes are not honored.

Return Unopened/Unused Product:

Any unused product can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customers and all refunds will have a 20% restocking fee based on the total amount paid. Any shipping charges are non-refundable. Returns are processed within 5 days of receiving the product back to our location. Returning an opened or destroyed product can result in higher restocking fees. Cancellation Fee:

All orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee once placed. Built-to-order items have a 15% cancellation fee. If the item has begun production, the order is subject to a 20% cancellation fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund. Chargebacks will be sent to the collection company for any unpaid fees and the customer will be responsible for any collection costs.
